About Me
My Story
Hello, I'm Shereen Zehra Rizvi, a product designer with a strong foundation in Computer Science. Ever since I can remember, I've been thinking up new ideas and finding creative ways to bring them to life. My journey started at Air University, Islamabad, where I graduated with a Bachelor's in Computer Science.
During my last semester at Air University, I embarked on a tech internship at PTCL/Ufone and later joined Optera Digital as a UI/UX researcher and front-end developer. There, I delved into Angular for front-end development and immersed myself in design strategies. My time at Optera Digital played a pivotal role in shaping my skills, from Figma wireframing/prototyping to Angular front-end development. I'm a dedicated learner, often completing online design courses on platforms like Udemy.
My passion for design has always been a driving force. I've managed and worked on numerous projects during my job and internships, even exploring graphic design. I'm known for adapting quickly to new insights and being a valuable team player.
Beyond design and front-end development, I'm actively involved in community work and community building, as I believe in helping others grow. My commitment to continuous learning led me to explore deep learning neural networks, resulting in a research project on Sentiment Analysis, which I proudly presented at the IEEE Conference and got it published.
But design is not the only thing that defines me. I've also served as a Microsoft Rozgar Ambassador and a Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador, experiences that fill me with pride. And outside of my professional life, I'm a basketball player, finding inspiration in the teamwork, strategy, and drive that the sport embodies.
